| Early Sunday May 24th, shortly after Midnight, Rescue 56-3 and Squad 56 responded to assist Berwyn Fire Company with a vehicle rescue on 422. Upon Rescue 56-3’s arrival, Berwyn’s Squad 2 and Squad 56 were already at work stabilizing an overturned vehicle with one confined. Rescue 56-3’s crew assisted with removing the passenger side doors and B post of the vehicle and removal of the patient. The patient was transported to a local trauma center. Rescue 56-3 was clear of the highway by 1:00 AM. Deputy 56-3 (Recupido) held the command.
Thursday May 28th, during evening rush hour a vehicle accident was dispatched in the area of the Wells Fargo Bank on S. Henderson Rd. 56PD arrived and upgraded the assignment to a Rescue with one trapped on the passenger side. Squad 56 and Rescue 56-3 arrived and worked together to do a total side blow out. The rescue was complete in 16 minutes. Upper Merion 5 (Leis) held the command. |
