Yesterday at approximately 12:00 noon, Upper Merion Twp. Fire & EMS, Quint 54 (Bridgeport Fire Department) and Chester Engine 2 (Berwyn) were dispatched to a dwelling fire on the 200 Block of West Beidler Rd. Safety 56-3 (J. Houseal) arrived to two story dwelling with smoke from the Bravo side roof line. Engine 56 arrived as the first due engine stretching a hand line. Squirt 56, with a crew of four, arrived as the second due engine. The squirts crew was assigned to the roof to open up and assist with overhaul. Chief 56 (Johnson) had the command. Units were clear within an hour.
