Today shortly after 8:00 AM the Upper Providence Township Fire & Emergency Services was dispatched to a vehicle fire at 422 and the Route 29 interchange. UPT crews arrived to a Tractor Trailer with smoke coming from the Trailer. It was quickly determined that the trailer was filled with mixed- use electronics that had caught on fire.

At 9:45 AM Squirt 56 was special requested to assist with full extinguishment of the fire. Squirt 56 operated for approximately two hours once on scene until the fire was placed under control. Squirt 56 was back in Upper Merion around 12:30 PM.
