Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company (SVFC) serves the villages of Swedesburg, Heather Hill, Heritage Manor, King Manor, Henderson Park, Merion Hunt, Merion View, Village at Forge Springs, Upper Merion Gardens, Belmont Terrace, Greentree, Darthmouth Hills, Merion Estates, King Ridge, Lowell Hills, and Valley Brooke, all within Upper Merion Township.* SVFC also responds with the King of Prussia and Swedeland fire companies in their coverage areas depending on the location and type of emergency. SVFC's prime coverage area includes a diverse mixture of residential, commercial and business locations.

 

SVFC responds to a variety of emergencies for the Upper Merion community, including:

• Residential and commercial fire suppression

• Vehicle accidents

• Vehicle fires

• Water rescues

• Traffic direction

• Helicopter landing coordination
